Description
Acacia Honey is undoubtedly the best known and most loved Italian honey. Pale lemon yellow in colour, it has delicate floral and fruity aromas with gorgeous, sweet vanilla flavours.
Produced in the uncontaminated forests of the Roero and Monferrato. These lie between the Northern Alps and the Apennine Mountain Range in North-West Italy. In May, the acacia trees there are covered in fragrant white flowers. And the bees simply love them. They collect precious nectar and turn it into the most wonderful honey.
Delicious when poured over yogurt or spread on hot buttered toast. Acacia Honey also pairs brilliantly with many different cheeses. But we love it with our Gatinais as the sweetness of the honey gives a delicious contrast to the piquancy of this tangy goat cheese.
This large jar of Acacia Honey is part of the Brezzo Anthology Collection which uses only the finest honey produced each year. Sold with its own wooden Drizzler, this is the perfect gift for any discerning honey-lover.
