Our Black Pudding Ring from Oakwell is made from a secret recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation.
This award-winning sausage uses 100% natural ingredients including fresh pig’s blood, pearl barley, barley flour, pork back-fat and bacon trim.
Savoury, herby and utterly delicious, this Black Pudding Ring can be boiled or cut into slices and fried or grilled. It is the perfect addition to a traditional Full English breakfast. Great when crumbled with such dishes as mash potato or bubble and squeak. And complements fresh scallops beautifully. Instead of sausages, why not sizzle some thick slices of black pudding on the barbeque for a flavoursome treat.
Black pudding can also be removed from its casing and used as a stuffing. Why not try it with Rolled Pork and Roasted Rhubarb. This recipe is fantastic. And the rhubarb perfectly cuts through and balances the richness of this meaty pork fillet parcel.

We can also highly recommend our White Pudding Ring. It may not be as famous as our Black Pudding, but it is equally delicious. When served together they are a real treat.
Although nearly any food is capable of causing an allergic reaction, only the bellow listed foods account for 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions. These foods are:

- Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit
- Lupin which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta
- Molluscs like clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid
