Camembert is one of the most popular French cheeses and loved the world over. Made from unpasteurized cow’s milk, this iconic soft cheese from Saint-Loup de Fribois in Normandy has a wonderful salty and earthy aroma.
As it matures, its soft creamy centre develops rich buttery flavours and a gorgeous runny texture. It is covered by an edible white blooming rind that also adds additional flavour.
