Description
Black fruits, hints of leather and cassis
Chateau Lafon-Rochet 2010 is an impressive wine from a very good vintage. This classic claret has a charming nose where aromas of black fruits, toast and smoke, liquorice and blackberry abound. On the palate, it has a melange of spicy ripe black fruits with hints of fresh blueberries, dark cherry, leather and cassis. Rich and opulent with a good tannic structure that holds everything together, it has a long persistent finish that is full of little nuances of pleasure making it very satisfying indeed. A wonderful Saint-Estèphe wine!
