Introducing Gusbourne Blanc De Noirs, 2019.
Light golden in colour with a delicate mousse and a vibrant nose showing orchard fruits, stone fruits and orange zest, with floral notes of fresh violet. On the palate the wine feels generous and rounded with red cherry, ripe strawberry and red apple, alongside a darker, slatey mineral character, notes of freshly baked pastry and sweet spice, leading to a complex, long finish.
Food And Wine Matching
This wine pairs brilliantly with richer fish dishes, cured meats and cheese. Try with roasted codwith mussels and chorizo, soft, creamy cheeses, or a mushroom and chestnut tart.
Presented in a beautiful gift box, Gusbourne Blanc De Noirs, 2019 is an ideal English Sparkling Wine for any celebration or occasion. And makes a perfect present for family and friends.
Gusbourne is an ancient estate that dates back to the early 1400s. It is based in the tiny village of Appledore on a low south-facing escarpment. Situated in the warm South East corner of Kent, about 6 miles from the sea. Gusbourne planted their first vines in 2004. Gusbourne has a clear vision and a single goal to create world-class English Sparkling Wines. That stand shoulder to shoulder with the very finest wines from across the globe.
An uncompromising quest for perfection and a meticulous approach to detail is at the heart of everything Gusbourne does. They ensure only the best grapes are used in their winemaking by growing and hand-picking all their grapes themselves. They produce exclusively vintage wines that are unique to each growing season because they want each bottle to be a true reflection of both time and place.
