Description
Our Isigny Ste Mère Unsalted Butter is a true expression of Normandy’s lush green pastures and rich dairy heritage. The historic Isigny Ste Mère cooperative has crafted this butter with skill since the early 20th century. It reflects generations of expertise and a deep respect for the land. Every step, from milking the cows to slow-churning the butter, shows the cooperative’s commitment to quality and tradition.
Cows in the Isigny region graze on mineral-rich grasses nourished by the gentle coastal climate of Manche and Calvados. Their milk is naturally rich in cream, giving this butter its golden hue and luxuriously smooth texture. Slow-churned and carefully matured, it develops a delicate, nutty flavour that is creamy and pure, with no added salt to mask its natural character. This artisanal method ensures a consistent, premium-quality butter appreciated by home cooks and professional chefs alike.
This unsalted butter is perfect for those who prefer to control seasoning in their cooking. It works beautifully in both sweet and savoury dishes. Use it to create light, flaky pastries, enrich sauces, or gently melt over steamed vegetables. It also enhances soups, risottos, and mashed potatoes, making it a versatile kitchen essential.
Enjoy the rich flavour of this butter spread on warm, crusty French bread, or on toast with favourite jam for breakfast. Elevate cakes, pastries, and desserts with this authentic French unsalted butter, or savor its smooth, creamy taste on its own.
The Isigny Ste Mère Unsalted Butter is a symbol of authentic French craftsmanship, a premium kitchen essential that brings the true taste of Normandy to your table, perfect for everyday cooking and special culinary occasions.
