Description

Introducing our Piquillo Pepper Strips or Pimientos Del Piquillo, Primera Tira. Traditionally grown in the region of Northern Spain. Once harvested, these small red peppers are charred over wood fires, peeled by hand and ready to eat. Marinated in olive oil with a carefully selected blend of herbs, they have a lovely smokiness and delicious sweet flavour.

These little peppers are an incredibly versatile ingredient in Spanish cuisine and can be used in a variety of dishes and recipes. Simply enjoy them on their own or pair with some Spanish cured meats and cheeses. Pile high on some warm crusty bread for an authentic Spanish Tapas experience.

These pepper strips also make a great addition to salads and sandwiches. But if you really want to add some Spanish flair to your cooking, why not add them to your Spanish Omelette or as a garnish on your Paella. Or if you love homemade pizza, scatter some over your pizza base. Along with slices of Serrano Ham and plenty of fresh basil for the perfect smoky, sweet Mediterranean topping. Delicious! Or why not add them to risottos, pasta sauces and soups for greater depth of flavour.

Our Piquillo Pepper Strips are a great staple to have in your kitchen cupboard. Delicious to eat, easy to cook with and endlessly versatile!
