Description

Our Shoulder of Venison is sourced from deer from some of Britain’s finest estates, parks and forests. Tender, juicy and packed full of flavour, this boned and rolled joint has a lovely gamey taste thanks to the rich and varied diet enjoyed by the deer in the wild. It is also a far healthier option than beef as venison meat is incredibly lean and rich in iron and protein. So, if you are looking for a delicious alternative to the traditional Sunday Roast, our Shoulder of Venison is the perfect choice for you.

Venison is simple to cook, delicious to eat and endlessly versatile. And works beautifully in a range of dishes. Simply slow roast adding a touch of rosemary and garlic and serve with the usual trimmings. Roast potatoes, root vegetables, gravy and some cranberry sauce. Serve with a good bottle of red wine. The perfect Sunday Roast for all the family!

Venison is one of the most popular game meats – and deservedly so. If you’re fed up with the same old roast and want something a bit different and more exotic, why not shake things up and make venison the star of your dish. You won’t regret it!
