The best wine matches for charcuterie celebrate the meat’s finest attributes without overpowering it – and lets the wine shine. Our Organic Prosecco from Toffoli pairs perfectly with charcuterie or prosciutto-wrapped chicken. Description

Our Sliced Prosciutto Crudo is made from salt-cured, dry-aged ham from Italy using traditional methods that date back to pre-Roman times. So, the art of creating this delicious Prosciutto has been perfected over the centuries.

The meat is first covered in salt and left to rest for a few weeks concentrating the flavour of the pork. After the salting process is complete, the pork legs are washed and left to dry-age and mature for months. It is this combination of salt, air and time that gives this Italian Prosciutto its distinctive dark red colour, creamy texture and delicate sweet taste.

Sliced paper thin, this Italian Cured Ham literally melts in your mouth. Giving you wonderful array of complex sweet and salty flavours to savour. Delicious on their own, our Prosciutto Crudo Slices also makes excellent canapés. And are also a great addition to any cheese and charcuterie board.

The subtly sweet but intense flavour of the ham works brilliantly with creamy Italian cheeses and an array of fresh fruits. So why not try wrapping a slice around some juicy cantaloupe melon, fresh figs or pear for a classic Italian treat. It also pairs well with cooked asparagus and peas. Or if you love pizza, why not try draping some Prosciutto Crudo over your pizza base for the perfect topping. Bon Appétit!

Pack of Sliced Prosciutto Crudo contains 500g. Ready to eat. Once opened, consume within 24hrs.
