As part of our new range of contemporary ceramics, this small ceramic plate is not only beautiful but practical. It is the perfect size for a starter, salad or dessert.
Every plate is wheel thrown using royal porcelain with a mix of different coloured oxides. This technique results in no two pieces ever being the same, so each bowl has its own unique pattern and coloured swirls.
After biscuit firing to a very high temperature, every plate is wet polished by hand revealing its stunning design. The unglazed surface is as smooth as marble and has a wonderful tactile quality.
A beautiful statement piece that adds style to any table and home.
Please note, all of our ceramics are handcrafted. As a result of this, there may be slight variations which is part of the beauty and character of each pot. Each piece is individual and may vary from the images shown.
Although nearly any food is capable of causing an allergic reaction, only the bellow listed foods account for 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions. These foods are:
- Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and Khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats
- Crustaceans for example prawns, crabs, lobster, crayfish
- Eggs
- Fish
- Peanuts
- Soybeans
- Milk
- Nuts; namely almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia (or Queensland) nuts
- Celery (including celeriac)
- Mustard
- Sesame
- Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit
- Lupin which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta
- Molluscs like clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid
