Description
Experience the authentic flavours of Spain with this Tin of Spanish Anchovy Fillets from Yurrita. Based in Northern Spain, this family-run company has been pickling and salting fish for over five generations. Their anchovies come from the pristine waters of Cantabrian Sea. And are renowned for their exceptional quality and rich flavour throughout the Basque Country and beyond.
Once caught, these anchovies are meticulously hand filleted and cured in salt for at least 20 months. Enhancing the taste and the texture of the fish. After curing, the anchovies are cleaned, trimmed and packed in extra virgin olive oil to preserve their rich flavour.
Often served as tapas, paired with olives, cheese and other small bites, these Spanish anchovies also add a burst of flavour when added as a garnish to summer salads, roasted vegetables or grilled meat.
Plump and meaty, these anchovy fillets are also perfect to use as a pizza topping. Or for stirring into pasta dishes to create an extra layer and depth of flavour. They are equally delicious when simply spread on some warm buttered toast.
In addition to their great taste, these anchovies are a remarkably healthy food being rich in omega-3, protein and essential vitamins and minerals.
This Tin of Spanish Anchovy Fillets are a gourmet delicacy and will transform your meals. So why not treat yourself and buy a tin today. You won’t regret it!
All Yurrita anchovies are caught using sustainable fishing methods and are MSC labelled.
