The garbanzo is another legacy of the Moorish occupation of Spain. They are the most important pulse in the Spanish cuisine and used more in the Catalonia areas where the climate is slightly cooler. However, you will find them included in most traditional Spanish restaurants across the whole of Spain during the winter months.
Already cooked, no need for the 24 hour soaking, just open, rinse and add to your authentic Spanish dishes.

Garbanzos are perfect for traditional Spanish dishes, soups and stews and pairs wonderfully with our Rioja Reserva from Valserrano which is made from 10% Graciano added to classic Tempranillo grapes.
