Sriracha Sauce is taking the culinary world by storm at the moment. This hot sauce made from fermented chilli and garlic blended with soy sauce and Chardonnay vinegar. Hot and tangy with just a hint of sweetness. It has a unique flavour that is absolutely delicious and wildly versatile.
Use straight as a dipping sauce or mix with some sour cream or mayo to give your dips a little kick. Makes a brilliant marinade for barbecued meats and will elevate your stews, meatballs and soups to the next level. Also gives Mac and Cheese a real punch. This Sriracha Sauce is handcrafted by the incredibly talented Chefs Will Murray and Jack Croft from Fallow. Their Mayfair restaurant is creating a real buzz on the London Food Scene with their sustainable approach to food and wonderful creative cooking.
Will Murray and Jack Croft met over the stoves of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal over 5 years ago where they received a first-class education in British produce at its best. A partnership was formed based on a shared passion for creative cooking and sustainable thinking.
James Robson completed the trio in 2019 and brought a wealth of hospitality experience. Following a series of sold-out residencies at Carousel and Crispin, the three of them went on to create Fallow. This is one of the most exciting restaurants in London.
Although nearly any food is capable of causing an allergic reaction, only the bellow listed foods account for 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions. These foods are:
- Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and Khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats
- Crustaceans for example prawns, crabs, lobster, crayfish
- Nuts; namely almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia (or Queensland) nuts
- Celery (including celeriac)
- Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit
- Lupin which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta
- Molluscs like clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid
