Our Duck Foie Gras is rich, smooth, and velvety in texture. And has a wonderfully buttery taste. Made from the best quality duck liver, this Foie Gras Block is much loved by gourmets and connoisseurs. And considered by many to be the dish of kings. Simply spread on some light toasted bread or fresh brioche and enjoy with a glass or two of our delicious Carmes de Rieussec for a completely indulgent treat.
This gorgeous sweet wine is the 2nd wine of Château Rieussec from Sauternes in Bordeaux, where it borders the world-famous Château d`Yquem. Its aromas are just made for sniffing. Enjoy complex apricot, marmalade and honey with hints of vanilla. When you can tear yourself away and take a sip, you get all of those flavours plus orange blossom, ginger notes and a golden sweetness followed by a gentle wash of acidity to freshen everything up.
When buying flash frozen duck foie gras, please be aware that it will arrive semi defrosted. We therefore recommend refrigerating it at your earliest opportunity and using it straight away. Please consider this when you order your flash frozen foie gras online.
