Wagyu Ribeye Steak, Japanese Beef, BMS 5-7, Flash Frozen, 1 x +/- 300g

£ 75.00

Our Japanese Wagyu ribeye steak is tender, juicy and full of flavour. This is because it comes from what is arguably the best beef in the world. Wagyu comes from breeds of Japanese cattle who are raised and nurtured on a specialist diet and in superior conditions. As a result, their meat is unlike any other with its extensive fat marbling, unrivalled flavour and melt in the mouth texture.

This ribeye steak is Kagoshima Beef which means it comes from Japanese Black cattle from Kagoshima Prefecture and has an extremely tender texture . So if  you are looking for a fantastic beef steak, it does not get much better than this! It has a wonderful rich soft buttery taste, sweet aromas and tenderness that will captivate your senses.

When it comes to cooking this Japanese Wagyu ribeye steak, don’t forget that the melting point of the fat in Wagyu is much lower than other breeds of beef so it will cook much quickly. We strongly recommend serving it rare or medium-rare. Why not try it with some of our ponzu sauce or if you prefer to keep it simple, just add salt and pepper.

Wine Pairing
Enjoy with a medium or full-bodied wine such as nice bottle of Bordeaux, Shiraz or Sangiovese. All work brilliantly and go down a treat with these delicious steaks.

This meat pack contains one delicious Wagyu ribeye steak of approximately 200-240g. Treat yourself to a gourmet experience that you won’t forget. Enjoy

Kagoshima Black cattle are blessed with the sun and natural surroundings of a warm tropical island. There are four different breeds of Wagyu cattle: Japanese Black, Japanese Brown, Japanese Shorthorn, and Japanese Polled; Japanese Black cattle comprise about 90% of the Wagyu cattle breeds.
The principal characteristics of the meat are its tenderness and full-bodied flavour, together with well-balanced fat marbling throughout the muscle fibres.
