Discover the delicious taste of our gourmet Wild Boar Pâté. Specially prepared for Urban Merchants using a traditional recipe, it uses only the finest ingredients. It is rich and gamey with a wonderful sweet slightly nutty taste thanks to the natural diet of grass, roots, nuts, fruits and acorns the boar forage for in the wild.
Packed with flavour, this pate has a lovely coarse texture. It is great as a light lunch, makes a sensational starter and is brilliant to take on summer picnics. Or why not enjoy as part of a cheese and charcuterie board. Simply serve with warm crusty bread and artisan crackers. Add some French cornichons and your favourite pickles and chutneys and you have the perfect meal to share with family and friends. Absolutely delicious!
This gourmet pate is also ideal if you are entertaining at home and want to create some simple but elegant party canapés. Just spread the pate on some toasted brioche squares, sprinkle on some fresh herbs and arrange on a platter. You can easily make it and prepare it ahead of time.

Although nearly any food is capable of causing an allergic reaction, only the bellow listed foods account for 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions. These foods are:
- Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and Khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats
- Crustaceans for example prawns, crabs, lobster, crayfish
- Eggs
- Fish
- Peanuts
- Soybeans
- Milk
- Nuts; namely almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia (or Queensland) nuts
- Celery (including celeriac)
- Mustard
- Sesame
- Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit
- Lupin which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta
- Molluscs like clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid
