Our Wild Boar Steaks are the perfect choice if you are looking for a delicious alternative to the more traditional beef steak. Tender and juicy, these steaks have an intense rich flavour. Often described as a cross between free-range pork and venison.
Wild boar meat is prized for its leanness and has a wonderful sweet slightly nutty taste thanks to the natural diet of grass, roots, nuts, fruits and acorns the boar forage for in the wild.
Our Wild Boar Steaks are simple to cook, delicious to eat and endlessly versatile. And work beautifully in a range of dishes. Simply pan fry and serve with your favourite accompaniments. We love these steaks with triple cooked chips, wilted spinach and a dollop of homemade apple sauce on the side. Alternatively, why not try them with Potato, Parsnip and Chorizo Hash. The perfect comfort food!

When buying our Wild Boar Steaks, please be aware that they will arrive semi defrosted. We therefore recommend refrigerating them at your earliest opportunity and using them straight away. Please consider this when you placing your order.
Although nearly any food is capable of causing an allergic reaction, only the bellow listed foods account for 90 percent of all food-allergic reactions. These foods are:
- Cereals containing gluten, namely: wheat (such as spelt and Khorasan wheat), rye, barley, oats
- Crustaceans for example prawns, crabs, lobster, crayfish
- Eggs
- Fish
- Peanuts
- Soybeans
- Milk
- Nuts; namely almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pecan nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachio nuts, macadamia (or Queensland) nuts
- Celery (including celeriac)
- Mustard
- Sesame
- Sulphur dioxide/sulphites, where added and at a level above 10mg/kg in the finished product. This can be used as a preservative in dried fruit
- Lupin which includes lupin seeds and flour and can be found in types of bread, pastries and pasta
- Molluscs like clams, mussels, whelks, oysters, snails and squid

Ingredients: 100% Wild Boar
Storage: Defrost thoroughly and use within 3 days. Do not refreeze. Keep refrigerated between 0 and 4°C. Do not exceed use by date.
Cooking: Cook thoroughly until piping hot and juices run clear.
